Personal Information Protection Policy
WADAKOHSAN CORPORATION (the "Company") recognizes the importance of protecting its customers’ personal information and believes it has a social responsibility to protect personal information in conducting its business operations. The Company is therefore committed to fully complying with the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and strives to implement the proper and secure management of personal information in accordance with the basic policy as prescribed below regarding the protection of personal information.
1.Collection and Use of Personal Information
The Company will collect customers’ personal information properly.
The Company will notify or disclose the purpose of the use of personal information to customers except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations, and will use such information only within the scope of the intended purpose of use.
2.Provision of Personal Information to Third Parties
In providing any personal information to third parties, the Company will do so only with the prior consent of the individual concerned, except as otherwise provided by laws and regulations.
3.Proper Management of Personal Information
The Company will take appropriate measures to ensure security in handling customers’ personal information that collected and will take reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access to, and loss, destruction, falsification, leakage, etc. of personal information.
4.Compliance of Laws and Regulations, as well as Other Norms
In handling customers’ personal information, the Company will comply with laws and regulations, as well as other norms and industrial guidelines, and comply with the matters provided for by the internal rules of the Company.
5.Continual Improvement of Personal Information Management
The Company will appoint a Personal Information Protection Management Supervisor who is responsible for the appropriate management of personal information and will comply with the Personal Information Protection Rules established to ensure the proper and secure management of personal information. The Company will also continuously review and improve its system regarding the protection and management of personal information, as needed.
6.Respect of Rights of Individuals Concerned (Information Subjects)
The Company respects the rights of the individuals concerned regarding personal information. In cases where an individual concerned requests the disclosure, correction or deletion, etc. of the content of personal information on justifiable grounds, the Company will respond to such request within a reasonable and manageable time frame and scope in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
